World Para Athletics Championships| Indian Athletes Determined to Repeat Rio Performance

Before the IAAF World Championship takes place in August, World Para Athletics Championships is to be held in London from 14-23 July, 2017. This is the first major Para Athletics Tournament, since 2016 Rio Paralympics.

The Indian Para Athletes are continuing their great form of Rio Paralympics, which earned them (2G, 1S & 1B). Their form is reflected in the large numbers that they have qualified for the World Championship this time, as many as 26 Male Athletes across 18 Events & 5 Female Athletes across 6 Events will be fighting for glory. Participants include Rio Gold Medalist High Jumpers Mariyappan & Varun Singh; Silver Medalist Shot-Putter Deepa Malik.
