Asian Youth Boxing Championships:India Assured 3 Medals
BANGKOK:ASIAN YOUTH BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS
9 out of 10 boxers entered Quarter Finals on Day 2 at Bangkok. On Day 3 Indian Pugilists had 4 Quarter Final matches in different Categories(52 Kg,60 Kg,69 Kg,81 kg).
India Started of with a Defeat in 52 kg as Sudeep Kumar Lost to Japanese Boxer and there after Indian boxers Naveen Boora(69 kg) went on defeat Rui Huang of china and booked India's first Medal at this edition of Asian Youth Boxing championships. Then came Ankit Kumar into the ring and he defeated Adilet Egenberdi(KGZ) comfortably with unanimous decision of 5:0 from the judges and secured his spot for the medal round. On the last bout for Indians in the day Chahal lost to Timur Ergashev(UZB).
India assured them of 3 medals Today(at least a bronze).

69 KG QF: Naveen Boora defeats Rui Huang(CHN).
60 KG QF : Ankit kumar into SF after defeating Adilet Egenberdi(KGZ)
91+ KG : Harsh Preet Sahrawat starts off with Semifinals.

ENDED THEIR CAMPAIGN:
52 KG QF: Sudeep Kumar lost to Ryutaro Nagagaki(JPN) by unanimous decision
81 KG Quarterfinal: Ashish Chahal lost to Timur Ergashev(UZB).
India won four medals which include three silver and a bronze in the previous edition of the tournament.
